God Will Hook A Girl Up

By:

Emily Miller

Today's devotional is courtsy of a seed planted by one of Tony Evan's sermons.

Let's take a look at Rahab.

But Joshua spared Rahab the prostitute, with her family and all who belonged to her, because she hid the men Joshua had sent as spies to Jericho—and she lives among the Israelites to this day.
-Joshua 6:25

Out of all the people God decided to spare, it was Rahab, all because she had faith.

Her story does not end there though.

She goes from prostitute to living a Godly life, finding an upstanding Godaly man to marry. She then gives birth to Boaz, becoming a grandmother to Jessie, and a great-grandmother to three of the most prominent rulers of Israel, Jesus, David, and Solomon.

My point is ladies, if you are single and have yet to marry, God is gonna have someone out there for you.

You may think that your life is insignificant, but it is not.

"God can hook a girl up", according to Tony Evens.

Be it marriage or something else, there is a divine calling out there for you that will, in turn, leave a lasting impression on all the people you touch in your life.

Blessings,

Emily
