The Answer Is Jesus!

By: Melissa Baker

Do you ever feel tired or weary and ask yourself, "where is my strength today?" Or you are faced with a problem that you just can't fix and you wonder "where is my breakthrough?" When your day is full of chaos and stress, do you find yourself asking "where is my peace?" If you are overwhelmed by the trials of everyday life, these questions may seem like they don't even have an answer or solution. But...

The answer to each and every question, every tear, every problem, and every situation is Jesus! I have hope for my breakthrough, because it is found in Him alone! I know that when I call on Jesus, when I'm struggling or frustrated beyond what I can bear, He meets me right where I am. I don't have to worry. I don't have to turn to worldly things to fill a void that my problems are creating. Jesus is the only one that can fill that void. He is the only one that can help me when I can't help myself. My help comes from my Maker! He leads me beside still waters and He refreshes my soul. His love carries me through and keeps me on the right path. Even though I have hard times, and struggle to find peace and joy in the mess, I don't have to worry or be afraid, because He is with me.

So today, we need to remind ourselves that there is an answer to what we need in our lives, for this moment and this season. Our questions regarding our breakthrough, our joy, our strength, and our peace, they all have an answer...that answer is Jesus!

The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Psalm 23 (NIV)

Have a blessed day!
