Falling...doubting...not on His watch!

by Debi Baker

"I cried out, 'I am slipping!' but Your unfailing love,
O Lord, supported me. When doubts filled my mind,
Your comfort gave me renewed hope and cheer.
Psalm 94:18-19

There are times in all of our lives when we feel we are slipping into the abyss. It happens. We have done all we can and yet we still feel like we are sliding down a slippery slope. The falling isn't the issue. What matters is that we have a loving Father in heaven that loves us no matter what. All we need to do is call on His name and He will support us. He will keep us from ending up in that abyss.

There are times in all of our lives when we feel we are slipping into the abyss. Don't let the enemy get a foothold!

Doubt creeps into our minds at the least likely times. There is no reason to doubt. God will give us renewed hope and the strength to go on. It is the enemy that causes us to feel like we are losing control. And it is the enemy that causes us to doubt. Philippians 4:13 says, "For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength." That means you don't have to slide down that slippery slop because Christ gives you strength to stand on your own two feet and conquer whatever is dragging you down. It also means that we don't have to doubt. We can...it's time we start telling the enemy who is really in charge...and it's not him, it's the One True God that gives you the ability to overcome all the things the enemy throws at you.

I challenge you today to stand strong knowing that Christ will give you whatever strength needed to accomplish what He's called you to do. I challenge you today to recognize God's unfailing love and how He supports you when you are weak. Don't let the enemy get even a small foothold. He doesn't deserve it. You are a child of the King. You are a daughter of the Most High God! The enemy has no place in you!

Have a blessed day, Princess!!
