God blesses and rewards!

Yesterday my beautiful baby girl (though, at 28, she's not a baby any more...just MY baby girl) gave birth to her second child, our 11th grandchild!   I am so blessed.  There isn't much in this world that tops watching your children grow into 'big people' who make us grandparents by bringing more children into the world.  

Oh, yes, I love my children with all my heart.  I love them to the moon and back...TWICE!  But grandchildren...they make my world spin!  I used to think the people that said, "If I'd known grandchildren were so much fun, I'd've had them first!" were the most awful people!  I mean, how could you subconsciously tell your children that you don't love them as much as you do your grandchildren!!!  And then...they laid my first grandchild in my arms (and that was 17 years ago!)!!  That statement doesn't mean we don't love our children.  Quite the contrary, we just love the blessings they give us through the blessings of our God!

Psalm 127:3 NLT says "³ Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from him."  I love that ...children...grandchildren...they are a reward to us from the Father above!  Well, God has rewarded me; for what, I have no clue, but my rewards include 3 daughters and 1 son by birth, 3 sons and 1 daughter via their marriages AND 4 beautiful granddaughters and 7 handsome grandsons!  Yes, I am truly blessed and rewarded by my heavenly Father!  I am truly thankful to the Lord.  He IS good!
