It's Time to Tell the Devil, "No More!"

By: Shari A. Miller

It's inevitable that the storms of life will loom large over our horizon at one time or another.

They will look large and luminous, as if they will destroy everything we have worked so hard for.

They may have us fearful, and filled with worry at the reality of what we could loose.

However, God demands us to do the exact opposite. In Isaiah 41:10, he states, "fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."

Friends, this is the key to letting go of worry. God is with is, he will strengthen us, he will help us, he will hold us up with his righteous hand! Isn't this wonderful news! When we know this, we can finally tell the devil, "No more!" Jesus has all of the storms of life covered, and we have no reason to fear!

Keep your eyes fixed on the Father today, and not the storms that bring problems into your life. When we dwell in his presence we are safe from all harm!

Amen!

"He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.  I will say to the LORD, “My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” ` Psalm 91:1-2
