Wisdom of a Woman

The Proverbs 31 woman. She seems so unobtainable. We feel as though she mocks us. How can we ever be like her?

She isn't unobtainable, otherwise our Father would not have put her in the Bible.

She doesn't mock us, she encourages us.

It is easier to be like her than we think.

She speaks with wisdom...

Wisdom is more than being 'smart.'  Wisdom knowing when to be quiet and when to speak. Wisdom is being able to be corrected when wrong.

Faithful instruction on her tongue...

Faithful instruction is more than telling others what to do. It is knowing when to tell them and how to tell them. It is instructing someone in love. Not condemning others. Not hurting others.

Be a Proverbs 31 woman by speaking in wisdom and love.

It is time for our Woman to Woman Word Filled Wednesday Link Up. We desire to connect women of God with one another and encourage each other in Christ. So grab a cup of coffee, sit back and visit a few blogs. Be encouraged and share your own stories in their comments.

  2. Yes. I think the P31 women also has a quietness about her and she takes a moment to pause for discernment, which enables her to speak in wisdom and love. I often forget the pause!
