What an amazing thought for Thursday verse! How many of us think about each and every word out of our mouth? To be honest, I don't. So many times the words just spill out without much thought at all. But reading this verse I believe we are being instructed to 'think' about each word we speak. David prayed this prayer because he wanted to please the Lord! Well, I want to please my Lord, too! So I am praying that God will help me to be more aware of the words I speak. Luke 6:45 NKJV tells us, "45 ...For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks." I know what is in my heart...it is love for my Savior...therefore, I want the words that come out of my mouth to reflect that love.
Be careful when you open your mouth. The words that flow out can never be taken back. What is in your heart...it WILL come out of your mouth!

Such truth. I pray that not only does my mouth speak life but that my heart is pure so that my words easily reflect that.
