Raising Thankful Kids

Can you even believe that Thanksgiving is just around the corner?

I can't.

Thanksgiving is here.

But, as much as I love this holiday, I think that Thanksgiving is something we should celebrate every single day.

And not just so we can have yummy turkey and pecan pie every sing day... although that would be fantastic...

We should be celebrating Thanksgiving every day because it is an incredibly Biblical thing to do!

1 Thessalonians 5:18 says, "In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ..."

In everything. Always. Every day.

So how do we teach this to our kids?

What are some fun ways to raise thankful kids?

I searched pinterest and the web to find some great ideas for you!

1. Building a Thankful Tree

2. Have a Thankful Jar {another idea with a FREE printable!}

3. Give Thanks All Year  in Practical Ways

4.  Model Giving Thanks in your Marriage

5. A Thanksgiving Calendar

6. Tips for Teaching Thankfulness

7. More ways to Teach Thankfulness

8. Thankfulness Crafts

9. A Thanksgiving Board

10. Thanksgiving Lesson Plans with Book Ideas

Trying adding these ideas in throughout the year so that Thanksgiving has more meaning each time it arrives!

What are some ways you teach Thankfulness?

Fun on the journey,
