Today I am thankful for the rain. Now I am not a huge fan of extended periods of rain and cloudy skies. I love my sunshine...no matter the season. However, in the past year we have been in such a drought that the rain is so welcome in the midwest. While I wish the rain was a 'warm' rain, it is still a gift from God and I will do my best not to complain about the dreary days.
Today I am thankful for a warm jacket to wear on a dreary, damp day. I know there are some that may not have a jacket to keep them warm and dry. I am so thankful for the blessing of my jacket.
Today I am thankful for the ache in my head...because it means that I can feel. While I pray that God will take the pain away, I am thankful that He has blessed me with the ability to feel pain.
Today I am thankful for my church body. I am thankful that God has placed me in the body of believers that He has. What a wonderful group of people I am blessed to worship with.
