Worship Wednesday - I Am So Mad!

~To enter our giveaway for a

Have you ever had one of those days when nothing goes right? When the noise of the world seems deafening, when the doubts creep in and the world seems to be spinning so fast that you can hardly see straight? Days when you want to scream at the top of your lungs, "I am just so mad!". Yep, me too. Been there done that, many......many times.  I've gone through numerous times when I thought it would be nice just to turn and run. Times when I want to shake my fists in the air and declare a big, "Why me?".

Do you think we get a free pass during these times? A free pass to think that we know best, that God has made a mistake and He just doesn't deserve the time of day? Absolutely not!

Francis Chan describes this condition of the heart perfectly, “When I am consumed by my problems-stressed out about my life, my family, and my job-I actually convey the belief that I think the circumstances are more important than God's command to always rejoice.”

God is bigger than our problems! I promise you friends that no matter what you are going through God is there. He promises in His word that He will never leave nor forsake us, "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you." Deuteronomy 31:36

In return we must never move away from the altar of praising our Savior. He wants a relationship with us. He doesn't want us to be there part time just when things are running smoothly. He demands our worship and praise ALL of the time.

When the times of dissapointment and anger overwhelm you, give it over to Him. Seek His will and ask Him how He wants you to grow during these times. But, most of all sisters.......never, ever stop praising His holy name. Follow the words written in Psalms 100:4, "Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name!" We need to give Him the respect and place that He derserves in our lives. When we do He will draw near to us, and in His time, He will turn our situations around.

  2. Amen! I am so encouraged to not give up. " We must never move from the altar of praising our Savior" spoke to my heart and lifted me to go on! I prayed and asked the Lord "who shall I connect with on twitter, and your site was the next thing I saw! Really blessed! Thank you ~
