Divine Appointments

"I will live as a woman answerable to God and faithfully committed to His word."

We're in a new Resolution this month ladies the resolution to be Faithfully His. I would like to call myself faithful. I would like to. But sadly I'm not as faithful as I'd like. Did you know we each have a divine appointment? An appointment every single day that God has scheduled for those of us who follow Him?

The appointment to meet with Him every. Single. Day. He has written it in pen on His calendar to meet with you at a specific time. He continues to speak to you about meeting with Him, He continues to ask you to set up a time of your choice with Him. Day after day you probably feel that gentle pull on your heart to talk with Him, to meet with Him. You may see your Bible sitting on your shelf, you haven't opened it in a while but there's that gentle tug you feel once again. Do you listen to it or do you redirect your eyes and turn your back?

There are other Divine appointments. Those things that happen that can't possibly be anything but God working things out right infront of your eyes. I love those appointments.

We have an opportunity here ladies. An opportunity to grow closer to God through this study. We have the opportunity to be completley satisfied with ourselves. Purposfully feminine, live authentically and now to be faithfully completley His.

"He deserves our resolve to faithfully and consistently live up to the value we've been given to portray outwardly to the world the inherent worth we possess inwardly by God's sacrifice and free Grace."

Here's what it means...

"We are women who lean into His voice"
"We are women who uphold the laurels of scripture in the face of contrary opinions."
"We are women who do not ultimatley answer to earthly authorities, but to the one who created us."
"We are women who live with heaven's purpose in view and heaven's whisper in our souls.
"We are women IN the world, but we are not OF the world, controlled, consumed or compelled by it."
"We are heaven called."

In the Resolution for Women Bible Study the author talks about Moses being faithful, I never saw Moses as someone very faithful, at every turn he tried to get out of this thing God wanted him to do, but the author was right...he was faithful because he tried. He was faithful because he said yes. No, he wasn't perfect, He was human, but he tried..faithfully, persistently.

This call we have on our lives, it's heaven calling. It's God whispering to us...it's the thing that says keep going when your heart has been ripped out of your chest yet again. It's the thing that says try again when you've gone off the deep end with your kids. It's the thing that says just wait when you have nothing left to hold on to except God. It's the call on our hearts that connects us to the One true living God that says YOU are worth more than many jewels and I WILL take care of you.

Yes, you and I..we have a divine appointment to live completley consistently for Him...we may not be perfect but we can try, and when we stumble He will lift us up to hear His angels singing, and we can have hope..once again.

"My heart has heard you say, "Come and talk with Me."
And my heart responds, "LORD, I am coming." Psalm 27:8
