Stop and Smell the Roses...

Good Morning!  I know I say it often, but it is such a blessing to take the time to actually count the blessings God has given me.  I am so very thankful to be able to share with you some of those blessings.

Today, I am thankful for...

357.  ... wise words from a dear friend to give an enlightened understanding of certain Scriptures.

358.  ... a young girl who decides to do a special in church.

359.  ... the astute ears of my hubby who hears a possible 'problem' with our bike (motorcycle) and then takes steps to 'fix' it.

360.  ... a beautiful weekend with cool, fall-like temperatures.

361.  ... pedicures!  Ahhhh....

362.  ... a timely and amazing service at church.

363.  ... a lazy Sunday afternoon followed by a b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l evening ride on the bike with my hubby!

364.  ... having a specific need and knowing God will meet that need...in His way and His time!

365.  ... love songs...silly, I know, but I am thankful for them anyway!  ;-)

366.  ... that there is freedom in the Lord!  (2 Corinthians 3:17)

367.  ... the busy week ahead of me because it means that vacation is near!

368.  ... walking on a crisp fall morning...even though it's still August!

369.  ... football!  Yes...I love football!

370.  ... VACATION!

So...what are you thankful for today?  Surely you have been blessed by God!  There is an old saying that goes something like this...'Take time to stop and smell the roses.'  Well, there is so much truth in that statement...In this 90-mile an hour world we live in...S-L-O-W down just a bit and take some time to count your blessings today!!!

God bless,

  1. Thankful for some family time today before the school year begins again. Hubby took day off and were headed to a nearby waterpark. Also, thankful that I will get to go visit my family again in a couple weeks.
