Loved by Example

Dear sisters, can I just share a secret with you? Something God has been revealing to me, teaching me...more like pounding into my head latley?

Kids learn by example

Our children are watching us every second of every day and the sins aka harsh words, misplaced anger, irritable attitude ~ they take all of that on themselves for the future. Every negative word or phrase or attitude is engraned into our children's minds and hearts to be used by Satan at the perfect time to steal them away from God.

I grew up with fighting, yelling, screaming, throwing things, arguing...stress and anxiety. So as you can guess if I'm not careful that's the exact attitude we will have in our home too.

It's a vicious cycle. Maybe your parents were raised like this, and their parents were raised like this and now it's your turn and what you're doing is just passing it on to your children for them to raise their children like this...it's AWFUL and God and I have been doing some deep discussion about this.

He is so much better than patterns of abuse, or neglect or hurt or stress or whatever the thing may be God IS Bigger! His Love IS enough!

If you are are struggling with something like this I would like to pray for you. Do you know our lives reflect what we truly believe about God...so if you TRULY believe that God is bigger and He can and will do some amazing things with your life then the cycle can and will be broken.

Lets love by God's example, lets live like we truly believe we are God's holy and chosen daughters, dearly loved.

Be imitators of God, therefore as dearly loved children and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. Eph 5:1

For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord, Live as children of light Eph 5:8

Be very careful, then, how you live - not as unwise, but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Eph 5:15

  1. He is so much more! Amen! We can break the cycle! We can break the chains! God wants more for us and our children than this. Great encouragement.
