Tasty Tuesday - Baked Ravioli

My kids love Italian.  Especially my ten year old daughter.  We tease her that she is part Italian, though she is really not.  One of our favorite dishes is baked ravioli.  It is so simple and fairly inexpensive.

Baked Ravioli

2 bags of frozen ravioli (we normally do one bag of cheese and one bag of meat, or you can be fabulous and make ravioli from scratch!)

8oz mozzarella cheese (if you like things really cheesy, you can use 1lb, I do depending on my mood, smiles)

2c spaghetti sauce

handful of pepperoni

Preheat oven to 350* and grease 13x9 inch pan.  In medium pot, bring water to a boil, then add frozen ravioli.  Boil ravioli approximately five minutes then drain.  Pour into greased pan, cover with spaghetti sauce, cover with  mozzarella cheese, and add pepperoni on top.  Cover pan with foil and bake about 30 minutes or until cheese is completely melted.

Serve with garlic bread for a great dinner!

(Serves approximately 8 people and costs around $12)
So, ladies, what's for dinner?

Sweet Blessings~

  3. Really wish my kids enjoyed and could "handle" having it! (oh so messy, given their ages!) I love easy recipes! I'll have to keep this in mind for the future!
