Today I have such an easy recipie to make granola bars, and while they cook your house smells AMAZING! It's the perfect fall snack, even your kids will love it!

You will need:

1/2 butter softened
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons honey
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 egg
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups quick cooking oats
1 cup chopped nuts (we used sliced almonds for this)
1 cup chocolate chips (or 1 cup raisins)

In a large bowl mix butter, sugars, honey, vanilla, egg, flour cinnamon, baking powder and salt. Stir in oats, nuts and chocolate chips (or raisins)

Pour and press into a 13x9in greased baking pan. Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes or until the top is lightly browned. Cool on a wire rack then cut it into bars.

When the bars are still warm, they taste like yummy granola cake. I hope you try it!
