Many of us often wonder what God's plan for our life is. Who should we marry? What job should we do? Where should we live? While God doesn't email us a complete roadmap of each decision in our life, he does give us the key to the map!
God's heart for us is for welfare and not for evil. Sometimes we may picture God as an angry God who is always disappointed by everything we do. Each of us do sin -- all have fallen short of the glory of God -- BUT God loves us with an everlasting love. His plans for each of us are good! The verses above in Jeremiah show that God has plans for our future, and one of my very favorite words: "hope". No matter what we go through in life, we can cling to the hope found only in God!
The key to determining what God would have us to do is found in calling upon the Lord, seeking him with our whole heart. God promises that when we seek Him, we will find Him, and I am clinging to that promise.
What are you facing today? Do you need direction? Are you facing a tough choice? Are you in need of a little hope?
No matter what you are facing today, God stands with His arms outstretch offering you a hope and a future!
