Run to Him

By: Jenifer Metzger

Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened,
and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you
and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in
heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My
yoke is easy and My burden is light.
Matthew 11:28-30

Friend, I don't know what you are facing today. I don't know what heart ache you have. It could be a health crisis, broken marriage, you've been lied about, you've been lied to, broken friendship, a child running away from God, financial struggles, depression, loneliness, grief, busyness, you've lost a job, you've lost someone you love, overwhelm, stress, infertility, miscarriage, or so many other scenarios. Whatever it is, I see you.

I see you. I see you hurting. I wish that I could take all of your pain away. I can't. But I know Someone who can. Jesus tells us to come to Him. I know you are weary and burdened. He is calling you to Him. He wants to give you rest. He wants to refresh your soul. Trade your burden in for His gentle and loving comfort. You may not find instant answers for your situation, but you can find comfort and help in His arms. He is there waiting for you.

Run to Him.

It's time for Share A Link Wednesday! Each Wednesday we invite you to leave a link to your latest blog post in the comments. We still desire to connect women of God with one another and encourage each other in Christ. So grab a cup of coffee or glass of sweet tea, sit back and visit a few blogs. Be encouraged and share your own stories.

  1. It's such a blessing that we can always run to Him, and He's never too busy or distracted.
