The Least of These

By:

Emily Miller

This advent season, I have been studying prophecy that connected to the birth of Christ. One particular prophecy has stuck out to me.

Bethlehem was just a small little community barely a blip on the map. That did not decrease the importance of this town because out of her would come the Savior of the world.

When it comes to me personally, I am small for my age. It takes all my self-control not to get angry and tell waitresses off at restaurants who ask if I want a kids menu when I am 22 years old!

Plus, lately, I have been feeling as though I am just sort of "stuck" in life right now, as I sit between college and grad school.

It is just overall nice to think of this scripture in this way: Jesus came out of a tiny town in Bethlehem, what will you do with me, likewise?

I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and a blessed new year!

Blessings-

Emily

  1. That's a great thought, Emily! :) Dad used that verse from Micah this morning in his sermon. :D
