Bubble Up Pizza Bake

By: Melissa Baker

Halfway done.

I recently came upon this pizza bake on the internet as I was browsing for new recipes to make. My boys absolutely LOVE pizza and could eat pizza every day. So when I stumbled upon this, I had to give it a try. It was really fast and easy to make, and it was delicious too. My kids (and husband) absolutely loved it, and there were no leftovers. In fact, they wanted more after it was all gone! So if your family likes pizza as much as mine, you may want to consider giving this a try. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

  • 2 cans of biscuits (I used Pillsbury Grands, but any kind will do)
  • 1-2 Jars of pizza sauce
  • Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • Shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
  • Pizza toppings of your choice

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Spray a 9x13 pan with non-stick spray
3. Open the biscuits. Cut each biscuit into 4th's (or smaller if using grands). Place them all in a          mixing bowl.
4. Pour sauce in the bowl with biscuits and stir them together to evenly coat the biscuits.
5. Pour biscuits and sauce into the baking pan.
6. Sprinkle with Mozzarella on top, the more cheese, the better.
7. Add pizza toppings of your choice.
8. Sprinkle with more cheese on top (optional).
9. Bake for 25-35 minutes (uncovered) until all the biscuits have bubbled up nice and fluffy.
10. Let sit for 5 minutes before cutting and serving.

Finished product, bubbled up to the top of the pan!
