By: Melissa Baker

I have always loved peanut butter cookies. So when I found this recipe, I couldn't wait to try it. It is quick and easy, which is my favorite kind of recipe. And my kids absolutely loved these cookies. They are simple yet tasty. So if you are looking for an inexpensive, fast and delicious treat for your family, look no further, try these cookies out today! Enjoy!

Ingredients:
  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Cup peanut butter
  • 1 Egg

Directions:

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
2. Stir the ingredients together until smooth.
3. Roll into 1 inch balls with your hands. Place on the cookie sheet.
4. Press down with the back of a fork and then press again from the opposite directions, to form the criss-cross pattern on top.
5. Bake for 12 minutes and then let cool on the baking sheet for 1-2 minutes before moving them to a wire rack to finish cooling.
6. Sprinkle sugar on top (optional).

A Few Notes:
These cookies will not spread at all. If you would like slightly less dense cookies, remove about 2 tablespoons of peanut butter from the ingredients listed above.
