Hope for the Hard Days

By: Emily Miller

Welcome to the middle of the week.

I don't know about you but Wednesdays can be a hard day to get through.

You are right at the halfway point of the week, yet not quite to the weekend.

It is during these hard days where you have to dig a little deeper into the word to try and find the motivation you need to get through the rest of the week.

You may have odds you are facing that may seem insurmountable to you.

Yet with God, you have nothing to be anxious about. You can get through this by leaning on his strength.

Here are eight verses that I hope will bless and encourage you as you go throughout the rest of the week.

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:6, 7)

“Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid” (John 14:27)

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths” (Proverbs 3:5, 6).

“Cast your burden on the Lord, And He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved” (Psalm 55:22).

“And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful” (Colossians 3:15)

“I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; for You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety” (Psalm 4:8)

“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand” (Isaiah 41:10)

“And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19)

Blessings-

Emily
