Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."
Have you
ever read this verse? I mean, really
read it...thinking what each name the Son given is called. Wonderful Counselor...Mighty
God...Everlasting Father...Prince of Peace. The words, wonderful, mighty and everlasting are descriptive words. They describe the word that follows it. I encourage you this week to do a little word
study on each of the names of Jesus. I
know it will add to your faith and draw you closer to your Savior!!! And, perhaps you will realize a deeper
understanding of what God did for us by giving us this precious Gift of His
Son!!
As we
draw closer to Christmas, I pray that each of you will read the Christmas story
in the Word of God...more than once. Ask
God to give you a new understanding of this holy day!!!
