Treasure...Masterpiece

"⁶ … the Lord your God has chosen you to be his own special treasure."

Deuteronomy 7:6 NLT

This verse always throws me for a loop.  How amazing it is to be God's own special treasure!!  He has created us, chosen us and calls us His!  Throughout the Word of God we are told that He has chosen us.

"¹⁰ For we are God’s masterpiece.  He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago."

Ephesians 2:10 NLT

Think about these two verses for a few moments......chosen to be His own special treasure...we are His masterpiece!  You and me, we are God's own treasure...we are His masterpieces!  Think about Michelangelo, daVinci, and other famous painters or sculptors.  Their works of art were masterpieces.  They were highly treasured and sought after!  

We are God's masterpiece...Highly treasured by the Most High God...sought after by the Creator of the universe!  It's time we stop looking down on ourselves and take hold of that truth!  

Sister...you are a very special treasure, created by your Father in heaven.  He looked at you and saw you were a masterpiece...one of a kind.  Take comfort in knowing that He calls you His own!  No matter what this life brings you, God loves you and to Him, you are the best of the best!
