Do you need strength...do you need protection...

by:  Debi Baker

"2 Lord, be gracious to us; we long for you.  Be our strength
every morning, our salvation in time of distress."
Isaiah 33:2 NIV

Every morning...I need the strength of God each and every second of every day.  I need a boost from Him sometimes just to get out of bed!  Have you been there?  The weight of the world on your shoulders and now it's time to start the day...God give me strength to get through the day!!!  I need to know that God has my back.

Isaiah prayed this pray because He wanted God to protect the people from the invasion of Assyrians.  I pray this pray because I need God to protect me from the enemy who wants to steal my joy, kill and destroy me!  Praying this prayer, I believe God will dispatch His angels round about me and that I will be safe and I will be strong enough to handle whatever comes my way!!

Lord, I long for your hand on me.  Be my strength each morning and protect me in times of trouble!!

If you are battling the enemy, rest assured that you are not on the battlefield alone.  Pray that prayer and let God lead the charge!!

Have a blessed day!
