Music for the Family

Post by Jenilee

We love music.

Music is a huge part of our lives. The girls love music and they can often be found singing at the top of their lungs to Newsboys, Mandisa, Natalie Grant, Capital Kings or Casting Crowns... among many others.

I love pausing a song and talking about what the words mean. I love hearing my kids sing songs about God. I love knowing that with the tunes of the music my girls are memorizing faith promises that will guide them through life. When a new album comes out that is packed with fresh songs... we are all excited.

Our newest love is from Francesca Battistelli

And I wanted to share it with you for Family Friday because it is a fun family album that you will all enjoy.

Not only is it fun but the songs are packed with teachable moments, uplifting words and faith building lyrics.

Teachable moments for the kids and "Oh, yes..." moments for moms.

Real-life parenting songs like this are fun, easy to relate to and oh so true!.

So, go grab some new music for your weekend!

*this is a completely unsponsored post. I really do think it is a great family album!

Fun on the journey,

  1. Great post! We LOVE music and always have Christian music playing. Music is a big part of our world. I never thought to pause and discuss the lyrics, great idea! But I think it is so funny and neat when we are reading the Bible and they realize a popular song is straight from the Word of God!

    1. Oh I love that too! It is a blessing when they recognize God's Word!
