Worship Wednesday - Worthy is the Lamb

*Repost from July 28, 2012

"Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise!
Give thanks to him; bless his name!" Psalms 100:4

God desires our hearts, He wants us to seek after Him with all that we have. One of the best ways that we can do this is through worship. There are many ways that we can worship our Savior. One way that I love to worship is through song.

One of my favorite ways to clean my house, or cook, is to put my ipod on, listen to my praise and worship music and get busy. There have been many times when I have stopped what I was doing with tears rolling down my eyes with my hands lifted in praise, giving glory to His name.

There is just something about hearing His name being glorified through the tapestry of sounds that are strung together in beautiful harmony. It reaches the depth of my being and strikes a cord with how much I love my Savior. God's word tells us how important music is to offer Him our praises.

"But I will sing of your strength, in the morning I will sing of your love; for you are my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble. " Psalm 59:16

When your days are filled with continuous, intentional worship, you will notice a difference. A difference in attitudes, a difference in outlooks, a difference in the lives of your families. Try to take the time this week to add worship music in your homes. Play it in the background during your everyday activities, or in the car when your running errands. It could be instrumental, or filled with words of adoration. Please take a moment to listen to the beautiful song below, it's one of my favorites. Worship Him sisters, give Him your all. Worthy is the lamb who gave his life for us, it's to Him that we sing our praises!

"In a loud voice they sang: Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!" Revelation 5:12

Many Blessings~

  1. It's hard for me to worship sometimes, but I find that's when I need it most. The times when it's hardest to lift my head are the sweetest times with Him....
