Chicken Kabobs

Spring time is finally here! My husband and I love to grill out, we would do it every night if we could. Today I want to share with you my favorite Chicken Kabob recipe.

Please note, you will have to soak the skewers for at least 30 minutes so get those soaking while you're preparing the rest of the ingredients.

For the Dry Rub you will need

A gallon freezer bag
1tsp Cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
1/4 teaspoon cayenne (this is optional but you can't really taste it after the kabobs have cooked)
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon cardamom
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
2 teaspoons raw sugar

Measure out all the spices into the freezer bag and set aside

For the chicken we usually fix 5 boneless skinnless chicken breasts just because we have 4 in our family.

Cut each chicken breast into bite size pieces and throw them in the freezer bag...seal the bag and coat the chicken with the dry rub ~ it will seem like you don't have enough spice mixture but you really do it comes out just fine.

Leave the chicken sit in the bag while you then cut the green peppers into bite size peices.

After everything is chopped you can then start assembling the skewers, alternating chicken and peppers. You can cook these under a broiler or on a grill. The chicken comes out really flavorful and moist I hope you will try this recipe!

**This picture isn't mine, I got it from google but this is what they look like**
