Declare His Glory

The heavens declare the glory of God,

and the expanse proclaims the work of His hands.
Psalm 19:1 CSB

I have never been a morning person. Mornings are hard for me, especially after struggling with insomnia night after night. However, as much as I dislike mornings, I love to watch the sunrise. There is something so magnificent in watching the sun slowly peek over the horizon as bright colors paint the sky. It is glorious. You can see the hand of God and all His glory.

Recently while struggling with some anxiety, I was sitting in my office and as panic was sweeping over my body, I happened to look out the window and saw the trees blowing in the wind. My eyes fixated on these mighty trees that were bending yet stood strong. Soon, just as the wind blew the trees, my anxiety was blown away.

Everywhere we look we can see the brilliance of God. He is wonderful, mighty, all-powerful, glorious. He is worthy of praise and honor.

Proclaim the Lord’s greatness with

me; let us exalt His name together.

Psalm 34:3

Today, take a step outside and watch how nature praises the Lord. How the trees bend, yet don't break. How the flowers seek the face of the sun and the Son. How the glistening water freely flows, yet knows where to stop. How the clouds float. How the moon and stars shine in the dark of the night. There is so much we can witness as we proclaim the greatness of God.
