Psalm 55:22 NLT
In my
devotional from yesterday I read Psalm 55:22 (NLT). The writer of
the devotional made mention that God promises to bear our burdens; He also
assures us that He will sustain us when we're sad, desperate, hurt, and so
on. The writer didn't stop there. It's this next statement that I
been pondered all day, into the night and still this morning!
"There is no circumstance, lack, or loss that I may endure
that is
greater
than God’s love and compassion for me."
What a
relief it is to know that the Almighty God, the Creator of the Universe, the
Omnipotent Father promises to bear my burdens...that He will sustain me when I
am sad, hurt, distraught!!! What a
blessing it is to know that there is NOTHING...NO-THING...that will change the
way He loves me!!! Thank you, Lord, for
always being in my corner...even when I'm not in my own corner!!!
This is a huge comfort to me. Especially when things don't seem to be going my way. It reminds me that God will never leave me, nor will He forsake me. He will always be right where I am. And that's not just what He does for ME. No! He does it for you, too!! Are you going through something? Are you feeling lost? Are you feeling like no one is there for you? Take my word for it; God is with you!!! There isn't anything you go through of which He isn't completely aware! Trust Him! Just let go and let God!!
