Facing the Unkown

By:

Emily Miller

I have struggled in the job I have had right out of college these past several months.

The job I have had seems very much to me like they are trying to force a round shape into a square hole.

This is not to say I have not grown from the experience I have had.

But as of this past Friday, God opened another door for me to pursue in terms of employment.

As exciting as this opportunity is, my natural tendency to basically be anxious about everything reared it's ugly head too.

I do feel as though that this new job for me will be a much better fit for me than the job I have now, as this current company is a Christian organization.

Yet, there is always an element of unknown to each new door God opens for us.

You can't just be content to live life in your comfort zone.

It is not the way God intended us to live.

Instead, you need to trust God in the middle of the unknown. Take that leap of faith and trust that goes will have a net at the bottom to catch you.

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you, and not to harm you.Plans to give you a hope and a future.
-Jeremiah 29:11

Blessings-

Emily
