Where Can I Find the Answers?

By: Shari A. Miller

We're all desperate for it.....

That latest quick fix, the newest thing, the best gadget or idea to take away our problems.

We search high and low for it on the internet, through blog posts, through the newest Christian book on the top ten list.

But guess what? All the while, that greatest question keeps being asked, "Where can I find the answers?" It's been sitting right in front of us the whole time.

Where can we find the answers? The answer is simple...the Word of God, the Bible.

"For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding." - Proverbs 2:6

All those other things that were mentioned are all good ideas, however they should never be the first place we run to when we are seeking knowledge and understanding. The first place we need to turn to is God's Word. It's within His Word that we'll hear the voice of God, and gain the knowledge and understanding that we're searching for.

Don't let the busyness of the day distract you from who you should be meeting with first. Make sure you take the time to get up and seek His will in prayer and through His holy written Word.

His Word is the instruction book for life, within it's covers are the answers we've been searching for all along. It's here that you'll find the answers for all of life's questions.

It's time to dust off the cover and dig deep into the wellspring of life. He's been longing to meet you there and welcome you home.
