No matter what burdens you carry; no matter your lot in life, God's love is faithful. It never ends. It matters not what you have done in the past or what you will ever do in the future, God's love NEVER FAILS and NEVER ENDS!! He is faithful, always there for us. He has unending mercy. Do you know what mercy is? Mercy is 'unmerited favor.' Mercy is God withholding the punishment [for our sins] that we deserve and His granting us forgiveness instead.
It is OUR sin that put Jesus on the Cross. He died so that we could have eternal life. We deserve the punishment that Jesus took for us. That, my friend, is God's mercy!! And according to the scripture, His mercies start all over every day! What a loving God we have!!!
Rest in knowing that your burdens are His. Rest in knowing that God's love and mercy is unfailing! Rest in the arms of the Almighty.
