3 Easy Ways to Show Love to Your Husband

Showing love to your husband every single day is important. But how can we show love every day? Here are 3 easy ways to show your love to your husband.

1. Respect him. Men need respect. That is the biggest way you can show love to your man. He needs to know that you respect and value him as a human being, as the father of your children, as your provider and as your husband. Respect his choices, his decisions, his opinions, and his views. This means listening very closely to him when he talks and making eye contact. Take his thoughts, dreams and desires into consideration. And never, ever talk bad about him to anyone, including your mom or best friend.
   
   Nevertheless, let each one of you in particular
   so love his own wife as himself.
   and let the wife see that she respects her husband.
   Ephesians 5:33
   
   
2. Be available to him physically. Men and women view intimacy differently. We want to be romanced first. This shows his love and helps us want to be physical. Where as men want to be physical because this shows our love. We are different. We need to recognize this difference and know that it is okay. God wired men and women differently. We simply need to learn to balance the difference. Understand that when he tries to touch you, it's not to belittle you or treat you poorly. It's his way of showing love. We also need to understand that just because he hasn't been Mr. Romance, doesn't mean he doesn't love us. Let him touch you, let him want to be with you. It's his way of loving you. And remember, you are the only one he is lawfully and morally allowed to look at and touch. So let him.
   
   Do not deprive one another except with consent for a time,
   that you may give yourselves to fasting and prayer;
   and come together again so that satan does not
   tempt you because of your lack of self-control.
   1 Corinthians 7:5
3. Pray for him and make sure he knows you do. Be your husband's prayer warrior. If you don't pray for your husband, who will? Cover him in prayer over his health, his relationships, his career, his interests, and his walk with God. Make sure he knows you are praying for him. Ask him if there is something specific you can pray about for him. As you listen to him day in and day out, if you hear of a concern he has, pray over it and tell him you will be praying for that situation. He needs to know that you are in his corner fighting for him.
   
   Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications,
   prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks
   be made for all men.
