3 Things Your Husband Needs To Hear Every Day

By: Jenifer Metzger

A person hears approximately 50,000 words a day. Your husband hears approximately 50,000 words a day. He hears his boss telling him what to do, sometimes it's likely not pleasant. He hears commercials telling him that he's failing if he cannot afford to buy you diamonds from the jewelry store. He hears put downs from others. He hears negative comments all around him. But what is he hearing from you?

Are your words to your husband uplifting? Are they encouraging? Are they loving? Are they respectful? Or are they negative like the world?

3 things your husband needs to hear every day #marriage #husband #wife

Here are three things your husband needs to hear (and feel) from you every single day:

1. I love you. Every day start the day telling him you love him, then end the day with the same words. And remember that action speak louder than words, so show your love to him. Make dinners and desserts he likes. Send him sweet text messages throughout the day. Be kind to him. Brag on him to your mother. Let him feel your love as much as, or more than, you say it.

2. I respect you. One of the most important things to a man is to feel respected. He needs to know that his wife respects him. Tell him with your words each day. Show him with your actions. When he makes a decision, respect it. Even if you don't agree with him. Simply pray for him. When he speaks, look him in the eye and give him your full attention.

3. I want you. Every man wants to feel wanted and desired by his wife. Your husband is no different. He wants to know that you find him attractive and want to 'be with him.' Tell him that you want him, and once again, show him. Forgo the cotton jammies occasionally for something that is just for him. Don't turn away when he says he wants you. Be with him.
