Oyster Cracker Snacks

With schools starting everywhere again I thought this would be a great time to share this simple and delicious Oyster Cracker Snack recipe with you. Its the perfect snack to put in the lunch box, have as an after school snack, or since football season is once again here, its perfect for that football party too :)

The best part about it is you can be eating it as soon as its mixed, or if you have the patience, its better about 2 hours after mixing so its had some time to dry.

Here's the recipe...
2 pkg oyster crackers (10 oz each)
1 envelope ranch salad dressing mix
1/2 t onion powder
1/2 t lemon pepper seasoning (optional)
3/4 c canola oil (can use veg oil)
1 t dill weed
1/2 t garlic powder

Instructions: Place crackers in large bowl. In a small bowl combine rest of the ingredients. Pour over crackers and mix well. Let stand for 2 hours, stirring occasionally. Store in an air tight container.
Enjoy!

***Have you ever noticed the cute sayings/quotes at the bottom of the pages of a recipe book? I have a lot of Mennonite/Amish cookbooks and they have a lot of great quotes in their cookbooks so I thought I'd try to share some that inspire me :)
