Marriage Monday - Power of a Praying Wife Week 23 {& a giveaway!}

A man's walk is the way he journeys through life - his direction, his focus, the steps he takes. Every day he chooses a path. One will take him forward. All others will take him back. Each day as we rise, we are faced with choices. Choices that not only effect us, but effect those around us.

Our walk, the path we chose is important. It is a choice we should not make lightly. God desires to lead us in our walk. He desires to show us the way, He even gave us a GPS: the Bible. When we ask God to guide our path, He does.

Even a great man can make a foolish decision. We need God's continual guidance. His guidance in every choice, in every thought. A wise woman prays for her husband's walk. She prays that God would lead him and his walk would be blameless.

For the Lord God is a sun and shield;
    the Lord bestows favor and honor;
no good thing does he withhold
    from those whose walk is blameless.
Psalm 84:11

This Week's Prayer:

"O Lord, I know the way of man is not in himself; it is not in man who walks to direct his own steps" {Jeremiah 10:23}. Therefore, Lord I pray that You would direct my husband's steps. Lead him in Your light, teach him Your way, so he will walk in Your truth. I pray that he would have  deeper walk with You and an ever progressing hunger for Your Word. May Your presence be like a delicacy he  never ceases to crave. Lead him on Your path and make him quick to confess when he strays from it. Reveal to him any hidden sin that would hinder him fro walking rightly before You. May he experience deep repentance when he doesn't live in obedience to Your laws. Create in him a clean heart and renew a steadfast spirit within him. Don't cast him away from Your presence, and do not take Your Holy Spirit from him {Psalm 51:10-11}.

Lord, Your Word says that those who are in the flesh cannot please You {Romans 8:8}. So I pray that You will enable {husband's name} to walk in the Spirit and not in the flesh and thereby keep himself "from the paths of the destroyer" {Psalm 17:4}. As he walks in the Spirit, may  he bear the fruit of the Spirit, which is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control {Galatians 5:22-23}. Keep him on the Highway of Holiness so that the way he walks will be integrated into every part of his life.

Amen

ShariI was so excited when we got asked to do a review for Bokerah Brumley's Lilla Rose business. I had the privilege of trying the "Roses Headband."  I often have a hard time wearing headbands, because by the end of the day I end up with a head ache. It's not the case with this headband, it has an adjustable elastic band at the bottom that lets you create the perfect fit.

I love the design of the headband as well. It's made up of beautiful crystals that are set in-between dainty roses. The headband is just the perfect touch to dress up an outfit and to make you feel just a little more special. The easiest way to describe it is, "I absolutely love it and it's beautiful!" I will definitely be buying more in the future!

Jenifer ~ I love to wear clips and headbands! But they never seem to stay in my hair. I am constantly having to adjust them or put them back in. Especially headbands. I love my etched cluster's headband by Lilla Rose. It actually stays put! The bottom of the headband adjusts so that it doesn't painfully squeeze my head but stays where I put it. Because it adjusts, my daughters can wear it too. And the Lilla Rose flexi clips are so easy to use and look adorable for a night out, Sunday church or just sitting at home. Lilla Rose is a great company with beautiful clips and Bokerah is such a precious lady to work with.

Debi ~ I don't wear hair 'jewelry very often because I have the same issues as most...they don't stay put.  I was very excited to have the opportunity to try my "Daisy Dangle Freestyle" hair clip.  I was pleasantly surprised to find that it stayed put perfectly!  I know there will be many opportunities for me to wear it in the future.  I am excited to get more of these.

Mandy ~ I don't really own pretty headbands or pretty hair clips, my hair is SOOO thick and so long that nothing really stays in. So when I got my Lilla Rose Amithyst Tiger Lilly hairclip I was a little hesitant but it was so pretty and what do you know, it fit great!!! I love it and will definitley be buying more in the future!!

One blessed lady will win a flexi clip of her choice {value $16 or less} from Bokerah, Lilla Rose Independent Consultant. To visit Bokerah's online store, click HERE.
