Today want to share with you how thankful I am for accountability partners. If you don't have someone that you can be accountable to, please consider praying about whom God would have you partner with.
Everyone needs someone with whom they can share everything. Many of us have our spouse...that's wonderful. We should share everything with them. But as women, there are times when we just need another woman to laugh with, to cry with, to talk with. For me personally, I have several other women that I would call 'accountability partners.' I've never been the kind of person to have a bunch of really close friends but I do have those few women in my life that I could not do without. I have this one friend that lives in another state. We don't talk often...sometimes not even once a year...but whenever we get together it seems as if no time has passed and we pick up right where we left off. I cannot imagine my life without her. I am so thankful for her unconditional love and friendship. She tells me when I'm in the wrong and she helps me get back on track. She rejoices with me when I rejoice. She cries with me when I cry. I have another friend, a gal in my church, that I literally can call anytime and she lets me vent or cry or laugh or whatever I need at that time. She is a God-send to me. She is such a special lady and I am blessed to have her in my life. I am thankful for her love and friendship. Then I have my mama...what would I do without her! She is in my corner all the time...no matter what I do or say...she has my back! Isn't that what a mama is supposed to be? God truly blessed me with the best mom. I am so thankful for her. And finally I have my girls...3 by birth and 1 by marriage to my son. My girls are so special and my life would not be complete without them!!! All 4 of them are so different but they all love God and serve Him in some capacity. They are so precious and God truly blessed me when He gave me these beautiful girls. I could not be more proud of them or more blessed!
Yes, today I am thankful...thankful for those accountability partners that God has put in my life...God bless you, Debbie...Mary...Mama...Jenifer, Kendil, Brooke & Melissa! You are my life. You keep me on track with love, advice, correction when needed and prayer. I love all of you and pray that we will forever be close. I pray many blessings from God on you. I am so thankful for each of you and I need each of you in my life...forever and always!!!
