Tasty Tuesday - Cheesy Chicken & Noodles

Growing up, my mom always made special dinners in the winter time.  My dad worked outside all day long and with the bitter cold weather mom wanted him to come home to hot comfort food.  This recipe was one of our favorites.  Now my husband works outside in the cold, as well as my son does three days a week, so this is one of our favorites now too.  Plus this recipe is so easy, I know you will love it!

Cheesy Chicken & Noodles

5 boneless skinless chicken breasts
36oz (a bag and a half) Reames frozen egg noodles
1/2 (or more depending on how cheesy you want it) block of Velveta cheese (you can use other cheese but Velveta melts the best!)

Preheat oven to 375*.  On stovetop, boil chicken till cooked.  Once chicken is cooked remove it from the water and set aside.  Using the same water, add Reames frozen egg noodles.  While the noodles are cooking, shred chicken and dice Velveta.  Once noodles are done, drain most of the water, you will want to save just a tad bit.  Mix noodles, chicken and Velveta in a 13x9 glass pan, cover with foil and bake for twenty minutes.  You bake just so that everything melts together.  Great served with biscuits and a veggie or side salad!

*Great as leftovers too!

Try it out and let me know what you think!

Sweet Blessings~
