Tasty Tuesday

Tator Tot Casserole

Here's a fun and easy casserole dish the whole family will love.

You will need:
Frozen Tator tots
Can of corn or frozen corn or whatever veggie is your fav. (I used corn)
Can of cream of mushroom soup
Shredded cheddar cheese
Ground turkey or beef (I used turkey for this dish)

To make:
Brown the turkey in a skillet. When it is finished pour in half a can of cream of mushroom soup with half a can of 2% milk just to make it a little moist. Stir that around and pour in your casserole dish making sure the bottom of the dish is evenly coVERED. Open the can of corn and layer that on top of the turkey. You can use as much or as little as you want, its your preference. On top of the corn you put a layer of Tator tots. The tots will make the crust so we always put a lot on the top. On top of the tots sprinkle a layer of cheddar cheese. My kids love this dish and so does my husband.

After you are done making the casserole you can pop it in the oven at 350 for 30 minutes or until the tots and cheese are lightly browned and crusted. We usually have biscuits or French bread with this. It's also a great dish to make before you go to work or on naptime to sit in the fridge until dinner time.

Happy cooking!
